Sushi Q (Kapaa) caters to a local crowd. Not much ambiance, but the service is good and the fish is fresh.

Bali Hai (Princeville: 826-6522) has a full menu and great views.

A Pacific Cafe (Kapaa: 822-0013) takes the best of Hawaiian, Asian, American, and French cuisine. It’s the best restaurant on the island.
