Getting to Kaua`i…
littlemap.jpg (6841 bytes) The main airport on Kaua`i is Lihue Airport (LIH). This airport is served by many daily flights from Honolulu Airport (HNL) on Aloha Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines. Most major airlines offer direct flights to Honolulu from larger cities in the U.S., Canada, Japan, and elsewhere. The flight from Honolulu to Lihue takes about 35 minutes.

A few airlines offer direct flights from North America to Lihue. From Vancouver, BC it is possible to fly directly to Lihue on Canada 3000 or Royal Airlines. From Los Angeles, CA it is possible to fly directly to Lihue on United Airlines.
From Lihue Airport…

1. Leave the airport on Ahukini Road (570).

2. Turn right (North) at Kuhio Highway (56) towards Kapaa

    • Stay on the Kuhio Highway until you reach the 27 mile marker
    • Shortly after the 27-mile marker you will see the Princeville
      Golf Course. Keep driving.
    • Shortly after the Princeville Golf Course, you will reach the main
      entrance to the Princeville Resort.
    • If you reach the Princeville Shopping Center, you have gone a little
      too far. If you reach the town of Hanalei, you have gone way too far.
    1. Turn right on Ka Haku Road (this is the main entrance to Princeville Resort)

    • Continue on Ka Haku Road until you see the sign for Pali Ke Kua
    • Pali Ke Kua is located after Punahele Road, but before the Pu`u Poa
      condominiums. It is immediately after the Emmalani Court condominiums.
    • If you reach the Princeville Resort, you have gone too far.
    1. Turn right into the driveway of Pali Ke Kua

    2. Go to the Administration Building. This will be the first
      building on your right. Pick up your keys.

    3. Continue past the Administration Building. Turn left into
      the first parking lot.
